About Rauvey Rocket Garcia

I am an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where I represent the State of Texas in criminal prosecutions and regularly try jury trials through verdict.I graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where I earned multiple American Jurisprudence Awards, served twice on the school’s flagship moot court team, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers.During law school, I interned for both of Oklahoma’s courts of last resort: the Supreme Court of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. At the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, I drafted four published majority opinions—an experience that shaped how I think about clarity, structure, and judicial decision-making. That appellate foundation continues to inform my work at the trial level.I take pride in serving my community, contributing to our criminal justice system, and pursuing outcomes that reflect fairness, integrity, and accountability.
