ABOUT RAUSHAUN WILLIAMS
The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. As a child I was labeled gifted; once my school determined they didn\'t have the resources to meet my academic needs, my mother was told that I had behavioral health issues. I wish those people could see me now. I\'m a biology student at Drexel University which I attend on a full scholarship. I mentor incoming freshmen and help them transition to college life, I conduct research to develop new treatments for demyelinating illnesses, I relay my experiences so that others can have the same opportunities and privileges as I, and I educate on social issues plaguing today\'s society. Ultimately I want to bring my unique experiences and outlooks to the operating room as a neurosurgeon. Get to know me!
