About Raunak Oberoi
I’ve been fascinated with machines, technology and design ever since I assembled my own desktop computer when I was 12.I’m currently a Product Manager on the Microsoft Store, driving strategy and vertical integrations of the Store across the entire Windows ecosystem. I spend my time obsessing over how to dissolve acquisition friction - connecting users seamlessly to the apps they love, whether they are searching on Bing, browsing on Edge, or using the Windows Start menu. I formulate cross-org product vision, ship 0-to-1 technical launches, dive into data, and ruthlessly prioritize bets with engineering and design teams.(And yes, I still love getting my hands dirty).Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky enough to build across a wide spectrum of technology - from scaling massive two-sided marketplaces to optimizing search for emerging markets to designing voice interfaces and applied AI models for task prediction. The projects have certainly evolved over the years, but my favorite part of the job remains exactly the same: digging into a messy, complex user pain point and figuring out a beautiful way to solve it-(Permanent resident of the United States.
