About Rault Kehlor

I\'m a Producer/Product Manager with a particular interest and focus on great user experience for web, mobile, and standalone software & experiences for consumer and EdTech markets. I specialize in richly-engaging media, instruction and assessment products for K-12 students, parents, and teachers/administrators — and all the development, production, delivery, and ongoing support they require. I\'m a facile communicator in both the creative and technical aspects of product design, management, and development for digital and hybrid products involving technology and physical/print components, with a fierce ability to balance disparate priorities to get it done—all with grace, empathy, and a sense of humor. I\'ve successfully used formal as well as \'quick & dirty\' app and content production methods depending on what was required for the product and my team, via Agile methodologies or hybrid Agile/Waterfall, for curriculum design, interface/interaction design, product roadmap development, feature & defect tracking, QA, and management of in-house and remote teams. The products I\'ve worked on are diverse, covering reading/ELA, foreign language, and math curriculum; Common Core standards; teacher/student management systems; data aggregation and reporting; and sales team training and feedback integration. I am a lover and tinkerer of new technology and gadgets, sticky mobile experiences, language learning, and international localization. I\'m fluent in French, proficient in German, and have a growing ability in Italian. I\'m also a classically-trained violinist, enjoyed 10+ years as an a cappella jazz singer, and am a (rusty!) reed player (clarinet, alto sax, and oboe). I\'ve taken time off to immerse myself in some personal projects - apartment and house renovations, co-producing some kids audio podcast content, and improving my Italian (and re-learning the experience of being a student again)- and to travel as much as humanly (and safely) possible.
