ABOUT RAUL ROMO

Raul Romo has been active in both professional and personal civic activities. He is a Regional Controller at Laz Parking, one of the largest parking companies in the U.S. and partially owned by VINCI, a French construction company and largest in the world by revenue. He has been enabling businesses grow through mergers and acquisitions for ten years. Raul’s proven experience in management, financial analysis and project management enterprise solutions have contributed in two large company mergers involving General Electric and over 30 acquisitions. He has helped numerous commercial capital real-estate clients using standard and custom methodologies. Working with operations teams, Raul is responsible for overseeing biannual budget process for a portfolio of 150+ locations, monthly financial statements and P&L analysis, project manager for implementing market wide projects, onboarding new business, accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight, and managing government contracts. Raul has previously served as Revenue Accounting Manager for the Atlanta Market working for InterPark, a GE subsidiary overseeing month-end close process and accounting policies. Through accounting procedures, he strives to provide accuracy and efficiency.He has years of volunteer experience in advocacy, food relief, and the mental disability community. Raul has volunteered the last two years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in D.C. advocating for children in the family court system, writing court reports and testifying. Interests include being part of the global solution economy through consulting, strategy, management, operations, and development. Having visited 12 countries in Asia, Europe and the America’s, he has a fervent curiosity for cultures, further enhancing his worldview.
