As the Senior Digital Media Producer for the city of Gainesville’s Communications office, I oversee the production of all digital media content promoting the city’s community-centered initiatives, programs and events, while ensuring the subject matter aligns with our strategic communication goals. I am also responsible for the programming, operation, and maintenance of the city’s government television channel, Community 12 TV, which broadcasts original content as well as live coverage of City Commission and other board meetings. These meetings are also streamed on the city’s website and Facebook page. In 2015, I received the City of Gainesville’s At-Large Customer Service Award which is given to only one of the city’s more than 1,400 employees who excels at customer relations.
