In Global Development (10 yrs): As Senior Country Operations Officer for Nicaragua, I have dedicated significant time as Country Manager, worked in the development and implementation of the Country Partnership Strategy of the World Bank Group with Nicaragua, and advanced a high performance portfolio. As Executive on the Board of Directors of the IDB’s Multilateral Financial Institutions, I provided Strategic, Corporate, and Policy Development for the economic and social improvement of Latin America. In Business & Finance (9 yrs): As Executive at Invercasa Financial Group, I advised on the Acquisition, Operations and Merger of its TV Cable Company. As Consultant, I advised on, led, and negotiated Nicaragua’s organization of the TMT industry, financial restructure of the state-owned telephone company, and its international Divestiture. As Program Manager at Motorola, I advanced its Wireless Infrastructure business in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Product Development (7 yrs): As Student, Engineer and Project Manager at Motorola, I designed and led teams in development of wireless devices. In Education (10 yrs): I have received degrees in International Studies, Business & Finance, and Engineering. Finally, in 2010, I completed the examination requirements for the Financial Risk Management (FRM) Certification. I am fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. I obtained the USA Citizenship in 2009.    Lead the The World Bank Country Office in Nicaragua to manage and support the development and implementation of a US$500 million investment program in several critical sectors: Roads, Water & Sanitation, Energy, Telecom and ICTs, Land Administration, Education, Health, Social Protection, Climate Change Adaptation, and Agriculture. • Committed significant time as Acting Country Manager in the last seven years• Developed and supported a portfolio of US$400-600 million in 11 investment projects with four- year weighted average disbursement ratio of 34.3%, one of the best in Latin America• Supported the Country Manager in the Development of the Country Partnership Strategy and Program for FY13-17, FY18-22. This was delineated for consolidation and focus in key development areas• Implemented the old and new Country Partnership Strategy and its Program for the last seven years• Promoted dialogue and studies in Geothermal Energy, Scaling Solar, Development Finance, and now Agriculture• Supported the First Sub-National Doing Business Report in Nicaragua• Hosted the 2nd meeting of IDA 17 (17 replenishment of the International Development Association, US$52 billion), for which my team and I received the VPU Team Award 2014, in recognition of outstanding team achievement.
