I am a global energy and sustainability strategist with more than 25 years of experience advising leading private and public institutions on transformation, resiliency, digitalization and decarbonization. My career spans senior leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, Accenture, ERM, and Schlumberger Business Consulting, where I have guided oil companies, industrials, and governments through the complexities of energy transition, carbon markets, and digital transformation.At McKinsey, I was Partner in the Energy & Materials Practice, co-leading Oil & Gas across Latin America. I advised governments and corporations on national energy transition strategies, downstream adaptation, and organizational redesign, while serving on People Evaluation Committees and mentoring future leaders.At Accenture, I was Managing Director, Energy Transition Lead for the U.S, and Global CCUS Practice Lead. I developed hydrogen strategies, decarbonization pathways, and sustainability organizations for Fortune 500 clients, while shaping digital transformation programs for major NOCs and IOCs.At ERM, I served as Partner and North America Regional Service Lead for Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change, managing a team of 25 partners delivering advisory services across the U.S. and Canada.Earlier, at Schlumberger Business Consulting, I was Senior Vice President and Global Leader of the Strategy Practice, serving on the Management Committee and driving consulting growth across Mexico and Latin America.Parallel to consulting, I have maintained a strong academic presence. I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Oxford University, where my research led to 15 scientific publications, including two in Nature. I have taught at Oxford, Duke, Cornell, Warwick, ITAM and EGADE, delivering seminars on energy transition, industry fundamentals, and sustainability. My thought leadership extends to publications in Petroleum Economist and keynote or panel addresses at major international conferences such as the World Petroleum Congress and the World Economic Forum.I am passionate about bridging science, strategy, and policy to accelerate the global energy transition. My academic rigor informs my consulting practice, while my industry experience grounds my teaching and research in real-world impact. Fluent in English and Spanish, I thrive in multicultural environments and global collaborations.Beyond energy, I contribute to community and education as a board member of the Houston Youth Symphony Orchestra.
