Role & Responsibilities : Administration of Networking Routing & Switching like 2960x, 3850xs, 3750,9200, 9300, for high network availability (>99.95%) and Use change management system for any request implementation,creating, performing. Technology: IPv4, IP classes & CIDR, Subnetting. Firewall- Fortinet: 80F, FG100F,FG4200F,FG4800F firewall configure WAN LAN Interface. Implement and maintain firewall policies, rules, and security configurations based on organizational requirements and industry best practices.Implement web and content filtering policies to control access to inappropriate or harmful websites.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.Troubleshoot and resolve firewall and VPN connectivity issues to ensure reliable network access Check Point firewall: 1.Use change management system for any request implementation, creating, and performing.2. Creation of Firewall policies, Remote VPN, Site to Site VPN, URL Filtering, Geo exception Filtering and Internet allow, Port Opening, IP white listing and NAT configuration. Daily checking of firewall logs for IPS and Packet Drop. If there is any attack then taking the necessary action with best practices. Always double check for the policies that we are implementing and rejecting the rules that can harm our network security. Network Performance and Optimization: Archiving of Logs from the firewall, Clearance of Rules that is not using and monitoring bandwidth utilization in firewall and switches on regular basis.5. Upgrading hot fix and licenses as per compliance. Taking backup Restore & Snapshot. Configure and optimize firewall policies, rules, and access control lists (ACLs) based on security requirements and best practices.Monitor and maintain firewall systems to ensure high availability and performance.Site-to-Site VPN Configuration:• Design, configure, and manage Site-to-Site VPNs using Check Point technologies to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between different network sites.Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues, including encryption, authentication, and tunnel stability problems.Collaborate with remote site administrators to implement and maintain VPN configurations.Intrusion Prevention System (IPS):• Configure and manage Check Point IPS to detect and prevent network-based threats and vulnerabil• Monitor IPS alerts and logs to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
