My career in energy markets started with a simple curiosity: why do barrels move the way they do?That question has taken me from analysing midstream infrastructure and export terminals, to supporting front-office traders, to now working with one of the world’s leading real-time energy intelligence platforms.At Enkon Energy Advisors, I first learned to break apart complex systems—crude supply chains, LNG exports, NGL logistics, refinery feedstock flows—and rebuild them into clear, data-driven insights. It taught me to see markets not just as numbers, but as networks of decisions, constraints, and opportunities.At ATMI (TotalEnergies’ trading arm), I found myself closer to the heartbeat of the market. Working alongside crude traders, I dove deep into suply demand balances, quality differentials, arbitrage spreads, production forecasting, and market structure. I learned how physical markets react to micro-signals, how traders think, and how quickly a single shift in flows can reshape an entire region’s balance.Today at Vortexa, I combine these experiences on a global scale. I track crude and refined product movements, monitor sanctions impacts, follow Americas export trends, and connect the dots between data, geopolitics, and physical logistics. My work focuses on explaining not just what is happening in the market—but why, and what it means next.Throughout this journey, a few principles have stayed constant- Energy markets reward curiosity- Data is only powerful when translated into clarity- Barrels always tell a story—if you know where to look.I’m driven by the challenge of turning complex, real-time signals into insights that traders, analysts, and leadership teams can act on.
