About Rasika K.
Hi, I’m Rasika. I’ve always found myself drawn to people, organizing ideas, and taking the lead when something needs to come together. During college, this translated into roles where I was managing teams, working with external stakeholders, and planning events end-to-end. As Secretary at the Industrial Interface Forum, I was closely involved in shaping events, coordinating with industry professionals, and aligning everything from idea to execution. That experience made me realize how much I enjoy being at the intersection of people, planning, and outcomes. Around the same time, classroom discussions and case studies introduced me to how brands think and communicate. That initial interest has carried into my current role, where I’ve worked on marketing assurance and marketing strategy projects supporting areas like campaign evaluation, vendor assessment, policy making, and media strategy. This exposure has made me more curious about how campaigns influence perception and how decisions are made behind the scenes. I’m someone people rely on for accountability, ownership, and clear communication, especially when working across stakeholders. At the same time, I’m aware that I’m still building my depth in the marketing space and actively working on it. Outside of work, I’m drawn to films for the way they tell stories that connect across contexts, something that continues to shape how I think about communication and audiences. Going forward, I’m looking to build toward roles in marketing consulting and brand communication, while deepening my understanding of consumer insights, media strategy, and the role of analytics and AI in decision-making.
