As Paradigm’s General Counsel, I lead the enterprise’s team of attorneys and compliance professionals to provide legal counsel and guidance across all divisions. I advise all departments on issues that impact Paradigm’s core business, including healthcare law, clinical care management, contracts, privacy, and security. I manage all litigation, and oversee mergers and acquisitions from a legal and compliance risk perspective, on behalf of Paradigm. As an experienced in-house counsel with an extensive background in transactional, regulatory and administrative law and litigation, I excel at building and managing legal and compliance departments, as well as strategic planning and working alongside business partners. Prior to joining Paradigm, I was an associate litigation attorney responsible for defending physicians, acute care hospitals, and insurance carriers in trial and appellate courts. I also specialized in medical staff compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. Earlier in my career, I was part of the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office.
