ABOUT RASHMIKA NAVARATNE

I am currently employed as an ERP Consultant at Platned in London, UK, where I provide solution support and implementation for IFS ERP Applications.Further in a broader prospective, problem solving, providing guidance, discovering solutions and feedback based on company procedures and guidelines are parts of my day-to-day activities. Such requirements arise due to the dynamics of the situations, which I am handling, and also the industry as a whole, thereby it is required for me to work closely with my counterparts at the outstations of the company and also other internal departments in order to achieve the common goal. As it is not always possible to solve problems single handedly escalations to relevant parties, through clear, concise and effective communication are another core tasks in my role. Elaborating further, complex tasks and situations requiring management supervision and consistent follow ups are taken up at a regular basis ensuring that delay’s and unnecessary hold ups are avoided. Finally, with my educational background includes a B.Eng.(Hons) degree on Aerospace Engineering Design (2nd class upper division) at Kingston University, London, United Kingdom 2012, I am highly motivated by the aerospace, mechanical engineering and management sector and can demonstrate this through my aerospace engineering design degree.
