About Rashmi Choudhary

Rashmi Choudhary is a 6th-year Materials Science Ph.D. student in the department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota. After receiving her bachelor\'s degree in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, she worked for 2 years as a research and development engineer at Murata Manufacturing, Japan. Rashmi’s two years of experience working at Murata on designing high energy density cathode materials for Li-ion batteries gave her solid experience in the area of battery technology. Her current work focuses on studying correlated electron physics in ruthenium and iridium based oxides. She has extensive expertise in thin film deposition using molecular beam epitaxy, device fabrication, photolithography, and etching.
