Responsible for customer site visit, scoping of P&C work, design and planning related activities associated with electric transmission and distribution substation up to 765kV • Created project specific single-line, three-line, automatic reclosing operation diagram, protection and control schematics, AC/DC & yard cabinet drawing, and panel wiring diagram per customer standard • Experienced in RTU point assignment (RPA) and station settings including relay coordination using GE EnerVista, SEL acSELerator QuickSet and ASPEN Oneliner • Designed high speed line protection with step distance, DCB, DCUB, POTT, current differential schemes by implementing the SEL-ICON multiplexer, Power Line Carrier equipment (Pulsar UPLC-II), and direct fiber communication means • Designed line protection with GE-D60 (distance relay) & GE-L90 (current differential) as primary (System-I) and SEL-421 (distance relay) & SEL-411L (current differential) as backup (Systems II) • Designed panel layouts for transmission line primary & backup protection with breaker control, transformer protection with low side bus differential and distribution feeder protection • Designed station GPS clock (SEL-2407) to connect microprocessor based relays using BNC-T connector and COAX cable (RG58) • Designed SEL-2411 to monitor miscellaneous station alarms including station battery charger, smoke & fire alarm, portable transformer, legacy electromechanical & auxiliary relays and SCADA control of legacy circuit breaker • Designed indoor and outdoor fiber distribution cabinet to connect yard equipment (i.e. breaker alarm SEL-2505 I/O module) and relays in multiple houses to the same station LAN • Performed voltage drop calculation, cable sizing and breaker sizing for indoor and outdoor AC/DC cabinets • Performed relay panel AC/DC test using OMICRON and DOBLE relay test sets • Coordinated with Station, Line, SCADA, and Telecom Engineers for successful completion of projects
