ABOUT RASHIDA MANUEL-FULLER
Lifelong Cincinnatian. Equity trailblazer. Insatiably curious. As Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio, Rashida leads the charge in turning equity into action. Her mission? To advance a model of health equity that’s unapologetically rooted in reproductive justice and antiracism. Leading with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Rashida\'s focus is on fostering inclusive environments and advocating for social justice. Prior to joining PPSWO, she served as Senior Program Officer at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, offering technical assistance to community-based organizations and national health systems working at the intersection of racial equity, health, and the environment. Rashida earned her BA in Journalism, enriched with a concentration in Africana and Gender Studies, and an MA in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies—both from the University of Cincinnati (Go Bearcats!). Off the clock, Rashida is the proud mom of a newly-minted adult daughter and enjoys life in Cincinnati with her wife, Qeiara. When she’s not championing equity, you might find her devouring a good book, exploring Cincinnati’s local gems (Cincinnati history buff at heart), or singing (badly) 90s R&B.
