My role is to assist the portfolio managers/ traders in the investment management process. Our clients include High Net Worth individuals, institutional clients such as companies, charities, trusts and pension funds. • Dealer Support: Firm understanding of the entire trade life cycle. Trade input, overseeing trade settlement (across various markets). Identifying any issues and resolving them. This involves liaising with external counterparties such as Prime Brokers, Custodians and Back Office.• Risk Management: On a few occasions actions can lead to a potential regulatory breach. One of my tasks is to identify and disclose such issues to head of operations and compliance. Supervisory Duties: Extensive experience in managing and training junior / new members of staff. This involves being a good communicator, organized and self-motivated. • Project Work: Due to rapid business growth have constantly been involved in the process of reviewing procedures. Worked closely with other departments on various projects to identifying opportunities for operational efficiency. • Cash & Liquidity Management: Developed an Excel report with the usage of pivot table and marcos, for cash / liquidity management purposes. • Fund Pricing: Updating our internal system with the latest prices. This usually done by using external price providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters and Fund Fact sheets.• Reconciliation (Cash & Stock): Ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner• Client Reporting: Quarterly production and distribution of client reports.• Preparation of external and internal reports:o In response to queries, collate necessary information and respond accordingly and prepare Excel generated reports, presenting data, conduct calculations and supplement with relevant analysis as requested.o Overseeing the in specie transfer of assets to EFG Asset Management. Liasing with Portfolio Managers in regards to Corporate Action.
