About Rashi Randev
Pursuing PhD from the Centre for Canadian, US and Latin American Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. The topic for my research thesis is ‘Persistent Struggle Against Inequality: A study of African-American Community in United States, 20••••16’. The United States of America is my research area and American Politics and Culture is my area of my specialisation. I have pursued my M.Phil degree and now currently pursuing my PhD degree based on the same region. I have a Masters’ and Graduate degree in Political Science from University of Delhi and have an additional Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University. My areas of interest are Strategic Analysis, Policy Research, Public Policy, Visual and Cultural Representation, Racism, American Society and Culture, Indo-Pacific Region and QUAD, Gender and Development. I have three months internship experience with FIAN and one years’ experience as a Research and Development Associate with Rakshak Foundation I have also been the founding member of the academic website, Perspectives on Americas that published analytical pieces on international and domestic socio-political and economic events in North and South America and their implications.
