ABOUT RASHEED AKINLEYE HAMMED
Mr. Hammed is an expert in forestry and environmental management. Currently, he serves as a SEED-funded PhD researcher at the University of Manchester (UoM), investigating the structural characteristics and ecosystem benefits of Tiny Forests across the United Kingdom, with a dedicated focus on enhancing ecosystem resilience. In addition to research, he is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UoM.His impressive academic background includes a Double Master\'s degree in European Forestry, fully funded through the European Union\'s Erasmus+ scholarship program, and a Master\'s in Environmental Management supported by the Commonwealth Scholarship. Rasheed\'s research expertise encompasses spatial analysis, GIS and remote sensing, sustainable forest management, forest restoration, urban forestry, forest fires (wildfires), and climate change adaptation, utilising sophisticated geospatial techniques.Rasheed\'s professional commitment honours the memory of his late parents, whose unwavering support continues to inspire his dedication to environmental stewardship.In his leisure time, he enjoys travelling, playing football, hiking, visiting museums, and exploring the countryside.
