   As an associate in WGT, I have been working in the Payments team and have been fortunate to get a few challenging projects to work on, including enabling deferred auth capability for PayByBank, WMCash and GiftCards. WCP involvement to onboard PayPal & Cashi (for MX market) was a very time-challenging ask to complete and deliver successfully on time with quality. Other than that I worked on Dynatrace SaaS migration, Echonyx integration, load testing for ChasePaymentech, and refactoring. My day-to-day involvements and responsibilities are as below: Assess, design, and develop new API services or enhance the capability of existing ones following microservice-based architecture and Agile scrum methodology. Architecting and documenting any newly implemented functionalities and services. Manage and collaborate on the development and ensure source codes in Git. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the project, to ensure end-to-end test support and timely delivery. Investigate and fix reported tickets (production & stage env) following the SLA and share RCA as applicable. Prepare unit test cases and collaborate with SQE members to ensure test automation support using Karate scripts. Requirement understanding, estimation, and project plan preparation were some of the key responsibilities. Managing production releases, including CRQ preparation, monitoring, and on-call support. Mentor and support team members to address technical challenges while setting up environments or any other technical challenges, including requirement understanding. Worked on preparing OpenObserve dashboards to monitor deferred auth transactions.
