As the General Director of Sarasota Opera, I oversee the administrative and financial aspects, with significant input into the artistic planning of a renowned opera company that is dedicated to producing high-quality performances true to the vision of the creators. With a Master\'s degree in Voice and Choral Conducting from Indiana University Bloomington, I bring a deep understanding of the opera art form and its history, as well as a passion for nurturing and showcasing the talents of singers, musicians, and staff.I have more than a decade of experience in leading opera organizations, having previously served as the General Director of Opera New Jersey. During my tenure, I have successfully managed a real estate portfolio, acquired a large opera costume collection, increased the donor base, and expanded the community outreach and education programs. I am skilled in fundraising, market, financial analysis, and all artistic and production aspects of an opera company. I enjoy working with a diverse and creative team that shares my vision of bringing opera to a wider and more diverse audience.
