I am a management professional that has spent the last ten years leading and motivating teams at Teach For America, a non-profit dedicated to assuring all children have access to a proper education. At TFA I have consistently been trusted with positions of increasing responsibility and visibility, with leadership roles at both the regional and national levels. In my current role I lead a team responsible for financial oversight of 50+ US regions and an annual portfolio over $200M. My primary areas of expertise are in finance, program management, strategic planning, and building, motivating, and leading distributed teams. My efforts at TFA have been recognized multiple times, having been named a top employee based on survey results.In addition to my work for TFA, I serve on the boards or volunteer for a variety of organizations. I am a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania (MS, Secondary Education) and The University of New Mexico (BBA, MIS).
