ABOUT RAQUEL TEJERA HERNÁNDEZ
Graduate aerospace engineer interested in control systems and systems engineering. Attracted by the space industry and aiming to get involved in the development of space robotics. During the course 20••••22 I did a year abroad at the University of Michigan, where I studied the third year of my degree. That year, I participated in the 2022 NASA\'s RASC-AL Competition, as the Controls Lead of the University of Michigan team, winning the Best in Theme award for our Universal Sample Containment System design. Thanks to SELSA (previously called SELA), last year\'s IoT Summer Internship, and the different projects I\'ve taken part in the last 3 years (all listed on my CV and profile), I\'ve been able to develop and put into practice my leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills, which I believe to be my strongest assets. My working ethic is well described by this quote from Charles Bukousky:\"If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start\".
