   In this role I lead the public relations department at Red Shoes Inc. I am responsible for strategizing the best PR outreach efforts and tactics for our clients, developing communication plans, compiling PR reports and metrics, planning press conferences, managing the PR team within the agency, maintaining client budgets and client relationships as well as growing reporter relationships at the local, regional and national levels. In addition to the tasks mentioned above, it is also my job to pitch journalists unique stories and get coverage for the many clients Red Shoes does public relations work for. I also draft news releases, media alerts, web copy and I am the first point of contact for the media when it comes to stories. I also created The Pitch Page, a unique Facebook page offering story ideas to reporters, giving them content at their fingertips. This page allows for a direct line between Red Shoes PR Inc. and the mass of reporters throughout Wisconsin and the nation.In addition to my work with the media, I use my video, story-telling skills to create video content for clients through social media videos. These videos help promote products or services offered and have yielded great results on social media and websites.
