Training with the City of Tempe CARE 7 team to support Veteran Services activities and other services as needed.Additionally, I am working as a part-time Military-Connected Outreach Representative with Blue Bell Behavioral Health-Casa Grande, and advising the Umano Property Management leadership team on a part-time basis, as an HR Business Consultant.Pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) program as a full-time graduate student, and seeking to obtain an LMSW licensing after graduation in May 2026.My private sector background includes over 8 years of talent acquisition experience and more than 3 years of leading or supporting DEI initiatives. I recruited for a wide range of roles during the 5-plus years with a Fortune 500 company including field operations, leadership development programs, internships, corporate roles, IT positions, and up to director-level openings.I stepped away from the workforce in October 2022 to pursue an M.S. in HR & Organization Development as a full-time student and graduated in December 2023. My externship capstone project focused on employee retention challenges for a Fortune 500 organization. I worked closely with the HR team to analyze data, identify root causes that impacted retention, and present recommendations to overcome challenges and enhance employee retention.U.S. Air Force veteran, molded by 20-plus years of training and experience. Excelled in leading up to 88 personnel in multiple roles, as an operations superintendent, budget/resource manager, meteorologist, housing manager, and logistics/supply manager. Successfully supported operations across five continents.Gained multiple cultural insights via travels across 24 countries and 45 states.Giving back to the community is important to me. I continue to support veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, college students, and others seeking career guidance as a 50Strong mentor, FourBlock career coach, mentor on the Upnotch platform, and via professional associations.
