    Rapid response startup engineer during the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) U1 Power Ascension Testing. This testing phase included troubleshooting various plant systems and providing the technical inputs to update plant operating procedures based on the test results. Troubleshooting of various electrical components such as relays, motors, breakers, generators, transformers, etc. Approximately 1 year duration.Grid Engineer: Developed the WANO Operational production KPIs data collection calculations and performed the data entry role for the operating units at BNPP [this is also an input to the UAE Department of Energy (DOE) – for Barakah One Company (BOC) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – for Nawah Energy Licensing/Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) reporting structures]. Supported turnover of the U1/U2 Switchyard from Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) organizations to BOC and Nawah Energy. Approximately 1 year duration.Current role, since approximately October 2021, is in Plant Engineering as a component engineer responsible for Medium and Low voltage breakers and relays with Units 1 and 2. This role has included supporting the development of the PM program for the associated equipment and ensuring any gaps in the PM program are updated to align with a combination of vendor guidance and industry standards (EPRI). Studying, and coordinating, with OPS, and work management, on the breaker/relay work to be performed Online, or in Outage, depending on the loads impacted.
