About Raphael Causapin
I\'m a Senior Transportation Architect based in Houston, TX. My career started in NYC and is focused on how to make transit buildings easy, safe, and comfortable for people to use. I’m involved in projects that range from existing station improvements to complex rail system planning and expansions: some projects are local (Austin Light Rail), some national (NYC IBX, Metro-North Railroad, Santa Cruz ZEPRT), and some international (Ontario Line). I’ve received three HDR Pathfinder Awards and was selected as an Emerging Leader by the American Public Transit Association (APTA). In my free time you\'ll find me walking cities and trying different transit systems around the world, always learning and honing my craft.
