About Riya Patel

My name is Riya, and I\'m a senior at the University of Cincinnati! I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science. I am passionate about learning and growing in the tech industry, and I am eager to apply my skills in software development roles. I have gained valuable experience as a Software Developer Intern at Jurgensen Companies, where I coded a micro service in C# that reduced processing time by 70%. I also worked as a Supply Chain Intern at Kroger, where I executed a case study using SQL to save a warehouse annually. Through these internships, I have honed my documentation, C#, Python, and SQL skills, as well as my communication and problem-solving abilities. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and network through personal projects, workshops, and events. I am confident that my skillset and mindset will bring value to my future career. I am open to a variety of positions within developing that will expose me to real-world challenges and help me build new connections.
