I am a PhD graduate in Psychology (2025) from Sri Venkateswara University, with a research focus on meditation and psychological well-being, particularly Vipassana meditation and its effects on stress, anxiety, depression, and cognitive processes. My doctoral research examined the impact of Vipassana meditation on psychological well-being among middle and older adults, contributing to the growing evidence base on meditation-based interventions. Building on this, I have developed a conceptual framework—the Three-Layer Mind model—to explore the interaction between cognitive, metacognitive, and neuropsychological processes in mental functioning. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, and have prior teaching experience at KL University.
