As a Latina and Middle Eastern-American first-generation medical student at UICOM, I am grateful to be on a path that allows me to explore the complexities of healthcare disparities, especially within underserved communities. My background in EMS has shaped my understanding of the challenges many face in accessing care, and my leadership of the Let\'s Feed Chicago initiative has deepened my commitment to serving with humility and empathy.Passionate about urban medicine, I am dedicated to addressing healthcare inequities and improving access for underrepresented populations.
