ABOUT RANJEET DEOKAR
As a Civil Engineering graduate student at Cleveland State University specializing in Transportation Engineering, I’m driven by a simple yet profound goal: to create roadways that are not just functional but also safe and efficient for everyone. My journey into this field began at Jadhav Construction, where I had the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects like the Kagal MIDC Road—a 4.35-mile two-lane roadway—and oversee the construction of a G+5 storey commercial building valued at $1.1 million. Each project taught me valuable lessons about collaboration and innovation.During my time as a Site Engineer, I dove deep into the intricacies of design and construction processes. By utilizing MicroStation for layout modeling, I was able to facilitate coordination between different engineering disciplines and resolve three critical alignment issues before construction even began. This proactive approach not only saved time but also ensured that our projects were built on solid foundations—literally and figuratively.I also had the chance to streamline drafting processes using AutoCAD, achieving a 15% improvement in project turnaround times. It’s rewarding to see how small changes can lead to significant impacts in efficiency and productivity. My passion for transportation engineering fuels my research into highway geometric design and traffic safety—areas where I believe we can make real strides toward safer communities.Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy engaging with local initiatives focused on improving urban infrastructure. Whether it\'s volunteering for community planning events or participating in workshops about sustainable transportation solutions, I believe that every effort counts toward making our roads better for all users. If you’re interested in discussing transportation engineering innovations or potential collaborations, feel free to reach out via email! I’m always open to connecting with fellow enthusiasts who share a vision for safer roadways.Email: r•••••@gmail.com
