About Ranit Ganguly
I am a Software Engineer mainly working on the Big Data technology developing ETL Data Pipelines to extract and merge data coming from multiple data source, Transform, clean and enhance coverage of the data based on business logic, and Load the data to tables or files stored in Hadoop or cloud storages. With a total industry experience of 5 years with 3 years of relevant experience working with Big Data, I am equiped with knowledge of transforming large data sets with efficient queries (Hive/ Spark Sql) and well tuned Apache Spark code written in Scala and Java. I have also got exposure developing applications to run in Hadoop clusters as well as Cloud environments like GCP and AWS. Apart from my exposure to Big Data, I also enjoy competitive coding with Java being my preferred language. I love to face new challenges at work and am quite flexible in exploring new technologies.
