ABOUT RANIA REGAIEG

I\'m an aerospace engineer and a PPL(A) student pilot driven by a mission to connect communities through aviation while advancing diversity, inclusion and women’s empowerment in STEM. I am particularly passionate about making aviation more sustainable and shaping sustainable aviation policy that balances innovation, efficiency and environmental stewardship.I’m actively involved in the aerospace and aviation community as the Young Persons Network Rep for the Royal Aeronautical Society Bristol Branch, representing early-career voices and university students. As Regions Lead for the British Women Pilots’ Association, I support regional reps in boosting engagement and outreach across the UK, inspiring more women and under-represented groups to explore aviation.Previously, as President and Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Students’ Union at UWE, I led initiatives focused on inclusion, sustainability and community - establishing forums for student representation across the South West region and cross-campus engagement.Beyond aviation and engineering, I’m a competitive rower and active volunteer with the City of Bristol Rowing Club, supporting new athletes as Novice Squad Captain and more recently leading the Club\'s fundraising strategy development and implementation through fostering community spirit on and off the water.Across all of this - whether at work, in the sky or on the water - I\'m committed to building inclusive communities, empowering others and driving sustainable change while inspiring the next generation of engineers and pilots
