With 18 years of public service experience in the D.C. government—including extensive work as a Medical Equipment Specialist for D.C. Fire & EMS—I’ve built a career at the intersection of logistics, procurement, emergency readiness, and workforce development. My professional journey has been shaped by crisis response, supply chain coordination, and a deep commitment to strengthening the systems that keep people safe.I’ve managed end-to-end EMS supply chain operations, decontamination procedures, purchasing workflows, and medical equipment inventory for more than 1,200 emergency response vehicles. From supporting presidential inaugurations and national celebrations to navigating citywide public health emergencies such as Ebola and COVID-19, I have proven my ability to maintain operational continuity under intense pressure. My work has reinforced the importance of resilient logistics, clear communication, and strong cross-functional collaboration.The COVID-19 pandemic sparked my transition into safety leadership and organizational development. It highlighted the urgent need for safer workplaces and well-designed leadership structures. In response, I earned an M.S. in Organizational Leadership and currently pursuing a M.S in Fire Executive Leadership, graduating with honors and recognition in NSLS, Omega Nu Lambda, and the Order of the Sword & Shield.
