Responsible for Maintenance, Toolroom, Production (3 shifts), Safety, Finishing Dept, and Quality- Implemented Production support team, consisting of maintenance, tooling, processing, and production to focus on top 5 projects each month - Implemented PM program to improve up time and efficiency of equipment – improving on time delivery, improved machine uptime by 50%- Implemented Safety committee – reduced reportable accidents from 15+ in 2017, to 5 in 2018, to 0 reportable in 2020 - Implemented Scrap reduction program focused on repair of equipment, molds, and update processes focusing on highest loss leading product line – brought scrap rates down from $80k/month down to $25K/month - Implemented regrind use, generating over $150k savings per year - Worked with inventory specialist and supply chain manager to reduce inventory errors and reduce raw materials inventories- Working with processing technicians to implement scientific molding process - Working with production team to implement basic lean principles for cleaning and organizing the production floor
