About Randy Maez

I’m an HR leader with a career spent supporting large, complex, and fast‑moving operations. In my current role, I oversee HR Operations for Rheem’s Northeast Distribution network, supporting 30 branches across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. I work closely with senior leaders to shape our people strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and build practical, scalable HR practices that support both our teams and the business.Before joining Rheem, I led HR strategy and field support for 45 behavioral health facilities with Universal Health Services (UHS), partnering directly with Executive and Regional Leadership, CEOs, and HR Directors across CT, MA, PA, NJ, DE, DC, VA, WV, NC, and the Atlanta Metro area. My work focused on employee relations, talent strategy, and helping leaders navigate organizational change.Earlier in my career, I held HR leadership roles across several industries. At Happy Returns by PayPal, I supported sites in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and California during a period of acquisition and transition. At Amazon, I led HR operations for multiple delivery stations and two large fulfillment centers, each with more than 3,500 associates. I also supported multi‑state retail operations with Academy Sports + Outdoors and spent eight years with Walmart in progressive HR leadership roles that shaped my foundation in employee relations, talent development, and large‑scale workforce management.Across every role, my focus has been consistent: build strong leaders, create workplaces where people can do their best work, and ensure HR is a true partner to the business.
