Executive Vice President of Avantor leading multiple business units spanning specialty silicones, chemicals, high precision parts, and electronic materials. Previously led the transformation of DuPont’s $5B Mobility & Materials segment that delivered record earnings, profit margins, and free cash flow. More than doubled the enterprise value of the reporting segment over his six year tenure resulting in the succesful divestiture of the majority of the segment for $11B to Celanese on November 1, 2022. Critical capabilities include extensive Wall Street experience with 3 years in investor relations. Substantial history and knowledge dealing with activist investors including the Trian proxy fight with DuPont in 2014 & 2015. Worked extensively with large institutional investors, sell side, proxy advisory firms, large investment banks, major media and corporate communications teams. Broad experience working in global environments including 5 years as a DuPont Managing Director for Asia Pacific residing in Shanghai China. A depth of commercial and operational knowledge to navigate the complexities of global markets, regulatory, government affairs, sustainability, supply chain and right to operate issues. Chair of the Durables Group for the American Chemistry Council, Plastics Division 2020/21. Member, Board of Directors, CTS, an NYSE listed company.
