Ocado, a UK based company, is one of the world\'s largest, dedicated online grocery retailers. Ocado operates its own grocery and general merchandise retail businesses in the UK under Ocado.com and other specialist shop banners, together with its Ocado Solutions division. The Ocado Solutions division is responsible for Ocado’s innovative advanced robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform (\"OSP\"). Ocado Solutions provides its OSP as service to major retailers around the world, including a recent partnership with Kroger for the United States. The OSP comprises of an end-to-end service inclusive of access to Ocado’s physical infrastructure solutions, running highly efficient warehouse operations for single pick of products, together with the proprietary software applications required to operate a world class online grocery business. Ocado has partnered with Kroger to help redefine the grocery customer experience in the United States through the adoption of the centralized, automated model of online retailing provided by the Ocado Smart Platform- Responsible for all US operational and engineering activities that support the Ocado Smart Platform systems used by Kroger for all of its planned, automated, fulfillment centers currently being built in major cities across the US- Currently directing engineering operations for first 3 sites launched in the US; Cincinnati, Orlando and Atlanta- Leading all operational start-up activities to support the 2022 5x site launches in Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore/DC and Denver- Currently hiring roughly 50 new Ocado staff members for each new Kroger FC location.
