I\'ve been training, teaching, mentoring, and developing leaders since 1990. The last 12 years at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers has afforded me opportunities to learn and hone skills in other company departments, including Analytics, Information Technology, Human Resources, Recruiting, Marketing, Franchise Support, and Real Estate/Business Development.Currently I oversee all aspects of Training, Development, Compliance, Safety and Claims for Express Oil Change, and our company will generate over half a billion dollars in revenue in 2023. I am also the right hand man to the Chief Operating Officer, collaborating and planning with him on company initiatives and projects. I plan, organize, create, and implement training courses for all Express locations, both company-owned and franchisees. As of September 2023, Express operates over 300 company-owned locations and over 20 franchise locations. My team also assists our sister brand with over 150 locations, Brakes Plus (Denver, CO) with safety, training, and leadership development.When I started as EOC Director of Training in 2012, we had 70 locations. Our department has been instrumental in growing our units to over 300, with another 50 new builds and/or acquisitions per year, every year, from now on.I\'ve helped innovate, create, and develop many key processes, procedures, tools and resources that are used every day in both Operations and Support. We built a custom LMS from the ground up, and we built a digital claims interface within our LMS which allows us to track all claims across our footprint.I\'ve created digital forms for our Operations Teams that have significantly improved our company\'s ability to communicate with the field and to efficienty gather and analyze feedback and information for our store teams. We have added accessibility and transparency with these tools, utilizing Google Work Space resources to build scoreboards, dashboards, and other data-display interfaces.My sole mission to develop, create, and/or improve tools and resources to setup our store teams for complete success.
