I’m a biomedical scientist with strong training in neuroscience, vascular biology, and molecular therapeutics, focused on translating complex science into practical, high-impact solutions in industry. My background emphasizes rigorous experimental design, advanced imaging and in vivo models, and clear communication of complex scientific data.Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Virginia Tech School of Neuroscience, where my work has included studying neuroinflammatory and neurocircuit mechanisms underlying chronic pain, neurodegeneration, cognition, and reward processing. My research spans chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), traumatic brain injury–related Parkinson’s disease models, and early life trauma, integrating behavioral assays, stereotaxic surgery, optogenetics, viral delivery, lipidomics, confocal imaging, and neuroimmune profiling. This experience has strengthened my skills in data analysis, workflow design, project management, experimental optimization, complex problem-solving, and scientific writing.I earned my PhD in vascular biology, studying the peptide therapeutic αCT1 and vascular barrier regulation, providing a strong foundation in mechanistic and translational research.I’m open to roles that combine technical depth with strong communication, evaluation, and structured problem-solving—particularly in intellectual property, consulting, scientific instrumentation, pharmaceutical products, and natural health products.
