About Randy Sheppard

Randy Sheppard is Senior Director of Human Resources for Boeing Commercial Airplanes supporting the 747, 767, and programs in Everett, Washington, where he also provides strategic oversight as HR leader for Boeing’s Everett site. The Boeing Company’s Everett site is heralded as having the largest manufacturing building in the world, producing the 747, 767, and the 787 airplanes. Thousands of aerospace employees in Everett support aircraft fabrication and production, product development, aviation safety and security and airplane certifications. Most recently, Sheppard served as Senior Director of Employee Relations – America West, where he led a team of more than 280 HR professionals. He was responsible for driving the competitiveness of The Boeing Company by implementing highly efficient HR processes to enable increased quality and productivity, advancing the company\'s enterprise strategy of \'Operate as One Boeing, Build Strength on Strength, and Sharpen and Accelerate to Win.\' Prior to his Employee Relations role, Sheppard completed a two-year assignment as HR Director for Boeing Commercial Airplanes 787 Operations in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, he was responsible for growing an organization that exemplified excellence, dedication and unparalleled service to the business. Sheppard was particularly focused on driving leadership effectiveness and ensuring performance efficiencies and accountability at all levels.With nearly two decades of progressive and diverse HR experience, Sheppard has served in Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Defense, Space and Security, Corporate HR, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations. He began his career at Boeing in as an HR generalist in Macon, Georgia, supporting Boeing Defense, Space and Security on the C-17 program. In his corporate role, he served as Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration and Vice President of Corporate and SSG Human Resources. Sheppard is a graduate of Mercer University and the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He has earned Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a national member of The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
