I bring to my work more than 30 years’ experience as an artist, contemporary art curator, art therapist and art educator. I have provided curatorial and art consulting services to a range of international and cultural organizations, including Art Works for Change, The Natural World Museum, the Dalai Lama Foundation, United Nations, The World Bank, International Finance Corporation and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. I hold a Master of Art Therapy degree (George Washington University) and a Master of Fine Arts degree (University of Maryland).

Art Works for Change creates contemporary art exhibitions around the world to address critical social and environmental issues. We harness the power of art to promote awareness, provoke dialogue, and inspire action. Art Works for Change creates traveling exhibitions that have a national and international scope and address issues that are both urgent and universal in nature. We believe our work reaches large numbers of people and cuts across racial, cultural, class and age distinctions more than traditional museum art exhibitions. For example, according to data from a number of host museums, our exhibitions have diversified audience demographics by as much as 20% during shows, and significant numbers who attended were not already regular museum goers prior to attending. One of our recent exhibitions, Off the Beaten Path, has been seen by more than people. The Nature of Cities exhibition at the Shanghai Expo was seen by more than people, approximately half of whom were children and youth.
