Provides subject matter expertise and assistance regarding senior leader nuclear and national support requirements and nuclear C2 processes, nuclear command post operations, emergency action procedures, NC3 airborne and maritime platform operations, and missile, submarine, and bomber procedures and operations as they pertain to assessments, standards and certifications • Assists the government with liaison activities among the key elements of the NC3 Assessment Community of Interest, including the intelligence community • Assists with developing, refining, cross-referencing, and integrating assessments and certifications requirements and supporting documentation for all NC3 mission areas. Advises the NC3 Enterprise Center Director and the NC3 Enterprise Lead (CDRUSSTRATCOM) on NC3 assets (platforms, nodes and systems) that provide NC3 capabilities and decision-making to the President and Secretary of Defense through the National Military Command System to nuclear forces. Assisted with development of Assessments & Certification Checklist for all future NC3 Enterprise Center assessments, inspections, and certifications efforts. • As NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Assessments & Certifications Tiger Team member, engaged with various NC3 Enterprise working groups addressing all nuclear and national capability issues that focus on specific standards and inspections areas of concern. • Works issues pertaining to NC2 and NC3 capabilities, procedures, operational platforms, communications, and modes of operation including USSTRATCOM survivable and endurable NC2 capabilities requirements as they pertain to standards, assessments, inspections and certifications •Travels to visit DOD installations worldwide to ensure NC3 systems provide the required capability and readiness in all environments to accomplish necessary functions among the NC3 decision makers, surviving facilities, and nuclear forces. • Assists UAP Task Force with UFO/UAP problem set issues.
