ABOUT RANDY GLADMAN
Randy Gladman is the Senior Vice President, National Lead of Development Advisory at Colliers Strategy & Consulting Group. He is responsible for leading Colliers\' Development Advisory service across Canada. A member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centres, and NAIOP Real Estate Development Association, Randy has also authored articles about architecture, the future of transportation, affordable housing, and city-building. He earned his MBA at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management in 2006 where he first discovered his passion for land development.Complementing his work in the real estate field, Randy is an active art critic and consultant. After completing an MA in Art History at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts in 2001, he worked as a curator and artist manager at contemporary art galleries in New York City. He continues to write about art and culture and his critical works have been published in many international periodicals including Artforum, Financial Times, Momus, Contemporary, ArText, Canadian Art, C Magazine, Smock, NY Arts, Strength and others. He contributed to Installationview, a monograph published by Rizzoli New York about the artist Ryan McGinness. In 2010 he co-founded The Ministry of Artistic Affairs, a membership-based curated series of informative and interactive events exploring multiple facets of the art scene in Toronto. Randy previously sat on the boards of directors of the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, the Toronto School of Art, and the Pavilion Project.His writing focuses on City Building and Contemporary Culture and his articles have been published internationally in newspapers, magazines, books, and websites.
