I am proud to share that I joined Bastyr University as its Chief Administrative Officer in July! I am the Chief Administrative Officer and I am responsible for aligning operational plans with the university’s business objectives, providing strategic leadership to enhance and improve all aspects of the university, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. I report to the board of trustees.This is a big opportunity to resolve financial and accreditation issues for an institution with an important mission and incredible faculty, staff, and alumni. It is also inspiring to get to work with Dr. Joseph Pizzorno, who was the founding president of Bastyr. Living healthier, something Dr. Pizzorno has advocated for 50 years and infused into the Bastyr curriculum, is what we all want.
