I\'m Randy Ellis, a seasoned business professional with over 25 years of experience in the agricultural industry, both within Canada and internationally. I’m passionate about agriculture, leadership, and building collaborative teams that drive meaningful results. My career has centered around helping agribusinesses grow through effective sales and marketing strategies, market development, and team leadership.My expertise spans a wide range of areas including sales and marketing strategy, new product market analysis, product distribution agreements, business development, strategic planning, and management consulting. I’ve had the privilege of working in various sectors such as equipment manufacturing, seed genetics, agricultural technology, and primary agriculture. I also have a strong interest in value-added agriculture, particularly nutraceuticals and the innovative Prairie “Farm to Fork” movement that’s transforming how we think about food production and sustainability.Beyond strategy and growth, I’m deeply committed to fostering professional development and collaboration within organizations. I believe that leadership is not just about guiding a team—it\'s about empowering individuals, aligning goals, and building trust that fuels long-term success.Academically, I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Agribusiness from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Extension and Crop Science from the University of Saskatchewan. I’m also a proud member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists, which reflects my ongoing commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.One of the principles that has guided me throughout my career is captured in a favorite African proverb:“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”That belief continues to shape how I lead, connect, and contribute in the world of agriculture.
