ABOUT RANDY DAVIS
Randy Davis, known as The Accidental HIV Activist, is a Canadian advocate, speaker, and consultant dedicated to advancing HIV awareness, education, and inclusion. Based in Ontario, he transformed his 2015 diagnosis into a catalyst for change, using his lived experience to confront stigma, promote understanding, and strengthen community connections.Through his firm, InclusHIV Consulting, Randy partners with organizations across Canada and internationally to embed inclusive, person-centred approaches to HIV education and care. His work champions U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) as both a scientific breakthrough and a foundation for eliminating HIV stigma in healthcare and community settings.As an Associate Trainer with U=U University, Randy helps equip advocates, healthcare providers, and public health professionals with the tools and confidence to communicate the U=U message effectively and compassionately. He also created the “I Can Give U” campaign, a social initiative that celebrates the power of treatment, dispels myths, and highlights that people living with HIV who maintain an undetectable viral load cannot pass on the virus.Randy serves as a CANFAR National Ambassador, a Board Member with the Ontario AIDS Network, and a Member of the Canadian Coalition to Reform HIV Criminalization. His leadership has been recognized with the King Charles Coronation Medal and the POZ-TO Person of the Year Award.Through InclusHIV Consulting, Randy continues to design and deliver evidence-based training, facilitate workshops, and advise organizations on inclusive HIV communication strategies that build knowledge, empathy, and lasting impact.
