Report to the Director of Quality while supporting ISO 9001:2015 compliance.Key Achievements• Led a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project that generated $570K in savings over 12 months by reducing scrap, labor, and cycle time in the Cut, Staple, and Mold process; completed certification through Air Academy Associates.• Chaired the Material Review Board (MRB) until July 2024, reducing open MRB value from $318K to $14K and improving disposition time from 289 days to under 48 hours.Strategic Leadership• Champion two Green Belt projects while driving site-wide improvements including Dock-to-Stock, document control (work instructions and Visual Inspection Criteria), ghost shell recovery automation, molding film evaluation, Mokon optimization, and 5S initiatives.• Actively help drive the Continuous Improvement pipeline for 2025–2026 by leading projects and identifying new opportunities, supporting the corporate goal of $3.2M in savings.• Provide direct report leadership within Continuous Improvement while also leading the quality team across all three shifts during periods of limited supervision by setting priorities, ensuring FIFO, coordinating crossover, and aligning tactical needs.• Lead quality and improvement efforts including the Ballistic Review Board and the Newport Ideas Created by Employees program.• Support integration of new products planned for 2025 through documentation updates and pre-production planning with Engineering and Operations.Core Quality Responsibilities• Manage Corrective Actions, SCARs, and CAPAs using 8D methodology.• Coordinate control plans for supplied and internal parts.• Program Keyence IM-8030 for production control and First Article Inspections (FAI).• Conduct source inspections and supplier audits (AS9100D Lead Auditor certified)
