ABOUT RANDOLPH SEIBOLD
I\'ve pursued an interest in renewable energy since 2004, as an electrical apprentice and member of the the BC Sustainable Energy Association\'s first steering committee. While with the BCSEA I designed and launched a web portal to Canada\'s post-secondary programs in renewable energy and energy efficiency. My career path has followed a two-pronged approach, working as an electrical technician in both wind and solar across Western Canada, plus business development roles related to renewable energy research, marketing, non-profit sector, investment and communications. In 2014 I participated in the construction of Western Canada\'s largest wind facility, the 300MW Blackspring Ridge project in Alberta. Today I work primarily with Canadian renewable energy investors and developers, with a focus on research, networking, and deal origination. I\'m passionate about renewable energy micro-grids for enhanced community energy resilience and climate adaptation, as well as Agroforestry solutions for food security and enhancing biodiversity in community interfacing forest ecosystems.
