Working at DPR, part of CalEPA, within the executive office, I coordinate strategic planning across the agency with regards to developing a statewide pesticide notification network (SprayDays), a first of its kind system. To create, launch, and publicize the program, I coordinate our IT, Communications, and Division staff as well as work with our project sponsors within the executive office to build and adapt this statewide system. Additional tasks included within my duties include: hiring and training additional staff, tracking and updating budgets, spearheading additions to the system, reviewing regulations and related regulatory documents including facilitating public hearings, and having a general knowledge of federal and state pesticide safety laws.
